Our Culture

After years of service to our Lord as Church leaders at our Mother Church in Southern California, Praise Chapel Baldwin Park, our Pastor, Raymond Figueroa, sent my family out to Pastor our own Church. What a blessing! We packed our things and stepped out in faith to our new hometown of Wichita Kansas in November of 2010. In the beginning we held services in our home, joined by neighbors and co-workers. A humble but never the less powerful beginning.

One year later, our Church moved into a storefront building on Harry Street, near Washington. We were at that location for six months before moving to a larger building on Oliver Street in April of 2012. We remained at the Oliver Street location for three years, and received so many blessings while we were there.

In early 2015, we began looking for a larger Church with room to grow, and God brought us together with Pastor Ronnie Casillas of Refiners Fire Ministries on Harry Street. Pastor Ronnie was preparing to transition into his new ministry of Evangelism, and the timing was perfect (as God's timing always is!). All the doors swung open and Praise Chapel Wichita South began holding services at this location in April of 2015, and we remain here to this day.
