After years of service to our Lord as Church leaders at our Mother Church in Southern California, Praise Chapel Baldwin Park, our Pastor, Raymond Figueroa, sent my family out to Pastor our own Church. What a blessing! We packed our things and stepped out in faith to our new hometown of Wichita Kansas in November of 2010. In the beginning we held services in our home, joined by neighbors and co-workers. A humble but never the less powerful beginning.
One year later, our Church moved into a storefront building on Harry Street, near Washington. We were at that location for six months before moving to a larger building on Oliver Street in April of 2012. We remained at the Oliver Street location for three years, and received so many blessings while we were there.
In early 2015, we began looking for a larger Church with room to grow, and God brought us together with Pastor Ronnie Casillas of Refiners Fire Ministries on Harry Street. Pastor Ronnie was preparing to transition into his new ministry of Evangelism, and the timing was perfect (as God's timing always is!). All the doors swung open and Praise Chapel Wichita South began holding services at this location in April of 2015, and we remain here to this day.
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative word of God
There is one God, eternally existant in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years
In the "Blessed Hope", the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation
The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 24, is given to believers who ask for it
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life, and in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation
